Augusta Road, Manly

Architect: The Architecture Company, John Hepworth

This Manly project was designed and built to match the existing heritage listed house.

It involved a complete restructure of most of the existing internal walls, whilst retaining elements such as chimneys, feature arches and large skirtings and architraves.

The works included a new attic conversion, consisting of two bedrooms, large office and large lounge-room with a bathroom.

Downstairs retained a large formal dining, new kitchen and lounge area, bathroom, master bedroom with large ensuite and a large merbau undercover deck attached to a sunny dining/entertaining room.

There is also a two car garage and landscaped front and rear yard.

We specialise in Heritage Listed Homes

Although Australia is a relatively young country, we still have a fair few ‘heritage-listed’ properties. If you live in a heritage building, or are planning on buying one, it’s important to know the restrictions you may have to deal with if you plan to extend or renovate. Lawson and Lovell specialise in building and creating your modern home whilst considering all council restrictions.
